Samantha Boucher serves as Managing Director at Turn Left PAC, where she combines her background in political organizing, emergency management, software development, and intelligence studies to fight against extremist policies.In 2018, she became the first openly transgender federal campaign manager in U.S. history while working with Brand New Congress, establishing herself as a leading voice in progressive politics and civil rights advocacy. She has since managed multiple U.S. Senate and Congressional races across the nation.Having witnessed firsthand the impact of discriminatory policies in her own community in her home region of Appalachia, she approaches political organizing with tactical precision and personal conviction.She regularly writes and speaks on civil rights issues, political strategy, and the intersection of technology and community organizing, including guest lectures at the University of Chicago's Institute of Politics and various political & LGBTQ+ community conferences.
